Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our award-winning Welsh cheeses and delivery service.
How should I store my Snowdonia cheese once it arrives?
To maintain the best quality, please refrigerate your cheese immediately upon arrival. Our waxed truckles should be kept between 1°C and 5°C. For the best flavor profile, we recommend removing the cheese from the fridge one hour before serving.
Do you use temperature-controlled packaging for shipping?
Yes, all our orders are shipped in specialized insulated packaging with chilled gel packs to ensure your cheese stays at the optimum temperature during transit, maintaining its freshness and texture.
Are Snowdonia cheeses suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, the majority of our cheese range, including our flagship Black Bomber extra mature cheddar, is made using microbial rennet and is certified suitable for vegetarians.
What is the typical shelf life of your cheese truckles?
Most of our waxed truckles have a shelf life of several months when kept refrigerated. Each individual cheese will be clearly labeled with a 'Best Before' date. Once the wax seal is broken, we recommend consuming the cheese within 7 days.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we offer shipping across the UK. Due to the perishable nature of our products and varying customs regulations for dairy, international shipping availability varies. Please check our shipping policy page for the most up-to-date list of serviceable regions.
Are your cheeses gluten-free?
All of our core range of cheeses are gluten-free. However, we recommend checking the specific ingredients list on our flavored varieties or gift hampers that may contain crackers or accompaniments.
